Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and Pixshift, operated from Germany. For contact details see the Impressum page.
What Pixshift does
Pixshift is a browser-based image toolkit. You upload images into the page and the tools convert or compress them locally in your browser. We do not upload your image files to a server.
Some features require a free account. Some features are limited unless you upgrade to Pass or Pro.
Your account
You are responsible for the information you give us when you sign up and for keeping your sign-in details safe. Use a real email address — billing and account messages go there.
Do not share your account with anyone else.
Acceptable use
Do not use Pixshift to process content that is illegal where you live, that violates someone else's rights, or that depicts the abuse of minors.
Do not try to break the service — no scraping, no rate-limit evasion, no reselling Pro access to others.
If you violate these rules we may suspend or close your account without refund.
Plans and prices
Free — limited conversions per day, no account needed for the first few.
Pass — a one-time payment for 7 days of unlimited conversions. Activates immediately.
Pro — a monthly subscription with unlimited conversions, renewing automatically until you cancel.
All prices are in euros and include any VAT where applicable. We may change prices in the future; existing subscriptions are billed at the price you signed up at until your next renewal.
Payment and billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. By starting a Pro subscription you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method each month until you cancel.
You can manage payment methods and view receipts from your dashboard.
Refunds
Pass — Pass purchases are final. Because the Pass activates immediately and gives you full access for 7 days, no refunds are issued once you have completed checkout.
Pro — if you are not satisfied with Pro, email support@pixshift.com within 14 days of your first Pro payment for a full refund. After 14 days we do not issue refunds for the current billing period, but you can cancel anytime from your dashboard to stop future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You can cancel Pro at any time from the dashboard (Manage billing). Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your access stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
You can delete your account by emailing support@pixshift.com. Deletion removes your account and personal data subject to legal retention rules described in the Privacy Policy.
Your content
You own the images you put into Pixshift. We do not claim any rights over them and we do not store them on our servers.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any image you process.
Our service
We provide the service "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free output, or that any particular feature will keep working forever.
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under German law (such as liability for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence are not affected.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. Continued use of Pixshift after a change means you accept the updated terms.
